We're hiring a video producer

Are you a talented video editor with a passion for sordid scandal? We’re hiring a video producer to turn the funniest stories in sport into mega-popular short videos.

If you've ever dreamed of spending your working hours making clips about Maradona doing coke in the Pope’s bathroom, then this is the role for you.

About The Upshot

The Upshot pulls back the curtain on your favourite sports and dives into all the stuff BBC Sport wouldn’t touch with a bargepole: drunken antics, dressing room squabbles and Gary Neville’s Qatari lookalike…

In July 2023, our podcast entered the charts at number one, and has already grown to more than 100,000 listeners a month.

We also have 100,000 subscribers to our Friday newsletter - the bible of sporting drama.

Now we want to grow those audiences by turning our best stories into videos.
